Don't know for sure what it was. Just an intestinal infection of some kind. Neg for c_diff. 10 days on antibiotic fixed whatever it was! 🙂

Good to hear Flagyl worked for you ! Sometimes you may be left with oral Vancomycin. Its not as simple and easy as Flagyl

I have it now. for the second time in 4 months. 1st time I was in hospital for 7 days on IV antibactic.I also have COPD And after I got home from hostital n1st time I got a lung infection and had to tak antiabic.. I got c diff much worse 2nd time in hospital for 4 days very dehyddrated. Dr put me on Vancomycin liquid. It is a compound med I have to take5ml every 6 hrs for 5 weeks. I am almost at the end of my last refill, which I might add cost $102 per bottle. Alsso I am on a diet where I can have no fiber I eat a lot of white rice mashed potatoes I call it my white diet.. I am feeling pretty good now I have 1 more week of med. I was very sick I had to wear adult diapers. Good Luck write me if I can help you

Are you over it by taking antibiotics?
