Ankle length compression socks - neuropathy
Can ankle length compression socks relieve pins and needles feeling in feet due to neuropathy?
I wake up in the middle of the night with intense pins and needles feeling in my feet. When I get up and squeeze my feet hard with my hands the feeling is much reduced. Would ankle length compression socks provide similar relief?

I don’t have neuropathy but I do wear ankle socks sometimes when my legs hurt. It keeps my feet from dropping down and it even helps my hip and back. I have a slipped disc that hasn’t required surgery plantar fasciitis that only bothers me sometimes and Achilles tendon that only sometimes is irritated. Please try it for your neuropathy and let me know if it helps you. My husband has neuropathy that is the kind that has a numbing effect from cancer treatment. He did try compression high socks but couldn’t stand them. I find the compression socks aren’t a problem. Best of luck finding a solution.

3 Reactions@ladybugg I would suggest talking with a medical professional prior to wearing compression socks overnight. I know of exceptions but they are not usually recommended for overnight.

2 ReactionsI am very happy to report that I tried with great success ankle length compression socks last night. They worked! After getting up in the middle of the night I put them on. I was able to go back to sleep. Usually the pins and needles feeling prevents me from going back to sleep.
The socks are Kemford brand, 20-30 mmHg compression, open toe. Bought through Amazon.
