I had something happen to 2 1/2 years ago I became space out like a ZOMBIE .
lost a-lot of my short term memory before that I had above average IQ an shortly after got AFIB now started to notice over the years that each time after a bout of afib my memory comes back. little by little anyone experience this ?
Ps 2 years ago to write this would have taken me over an hour to write.

Congratulations on every small clawback, and for being courageous and determined to do so. Some might want to fold, while others such as yourself begin the laborious process of gaining back what they've lost.
Are you saying that each small bout of AF actually helps your memory a bit? I think that's what I'm reading. If so, it's remarkable. I could see AF causing short term cognitive and memory deficits, much like poor ejection fraction and valvular problems or stenosed carotid arteries cause in some cases. I am at a loss to explain how your occasional AF might improve your recall a little. Maybe a 'gift horse?' 😀
