Recently (about 3 weeks) I got a really bad headache i was rushed to hospital were they performed an lp on me (lumper punch) and from their everything went down hill. I had really bad pain terrible nusea , i was vomitting and was very weak I went back and fourth from hospital the doctors couldn't find what was wrong with me.

Eventually I got better but only for a short while i missed a week of school and only managed to to attened 3 days of school before my pain came back , I dont know what to do any more I have my whole life ahead of me and I want to graduate high-school so I can go to college so I can get a good job. But i cant do anything to make my pain go away.

Im really scared and want to feel better but nothing seems to be working , i cant sit up straight for long or else i get nuseases and head pain i dont know if it does have something to do with my spine.

If anyone has advice or went through the same thing please let me know.

O h my, this is awful. Did they tell you what, if anything they found in the lumbar puncture? If not, I'd ask them straight out why they didn't talk to you afterwards. If I were you, I'd make an appt. with a good Neurosurgeon, or perhaps first a Neurologist. They're more likely to know how to help you. Please keep posting.

Hi @matthewjacobus17 , It almost sounds like you may have meningitis! Did they tell you if that is what they suspected when they did the lumbar puncture? Is your neck stiff along with the headaches and nausea? If so Mathew I would advise you to get to a hospital PDQ as meningitis is nothing to mess with. Depending upon the type you can go deaf, blind or even die.
Even if they say they checked go to a different hospital, it may have been to early to detect or they may not have read the report right or got it mixed up, or who knows. The important thing is that if you have the signs you need to get checked.

@matthewjacobus17, I agree with @overwhelmed that you need to be seen again ASAP. While we can't provide medical advice on here Connect, we can recognize when something might be serious enough to recommend that you be seen again. I think your situation warrants this.

@matthewjacobus17, would you mind coming back to tell the community how you are doing or what you have found out from your lumbar puncture?
