anyone with peripheral neuropathy evaluated for N T Hydrocephalus?

I was recently evaluated by orthopedic spinal surgeon because neurologist at Mayo felt my peripheral neuropathy and gait , balance abnormalities were probably due to a structural problem. The orthopedic surgeon evaluated my scans and medical records didn’t seem to think there was a structural problem. He focused on the cervical and thoracic syrinxes noted on MRI’s. He recommended I be
evaluated for Normal Tension Hydrocephalus. Anyone out their with similar issues?
