@fdavep, hello! I just moved to the LV area a year ago, from Phoenix area. My opinion is the jury is still out regarding finding a Pulmonologist who specializes in BE/MAC. I went to one who was recommended, you will wait 2 to 2.5 hrs to see Dr. And after the 3rd appointment I found him somewhat rude. Not what I’m looking for in my Pulmonologist! I was referred to another pulmonologist - Dr Raj Amesur. I have met with him 2 times. I really like him, not real sure of his knowledge regarding BE/MAC.
However, I found a great infectious disease Dr. Brian Lipman.
We have a LV support group starting up next week if you interested let me know.
Please stay in touch and let me know what you find in our area!
Glenda

Hi Glenda, I was born and lived in Phoenix for my first 22 years.
I just quit my Pulmonologist Dr. Wojcik because it would take 2 to 3 hours for every appointment. And the last time I saw him he listened to my lungs, said they sound terrible, and I will see you in 6 weeks. Now I just go to my allergist Dr. Herman for care. Yes, I would like to be in your support group.
