Treatment and prognosis for vascularitis in the brain

My grandson has a recent diagnosis of vascularitis in the brain. What is the length of treatment and the typical prognosis?

Aaron is 16 years old (17 yeras old next month)<br />

His last MRI was quite favorable.<br />
Has good motoer skills but hie verbal skills and reading etc. are slow to respond.<br />
Diagnosis was last Tuesday 12/15/2015<br />
