Radiation is wonderful for cancer but so damaging to healthy skin. My treatment was finished in early December and I left to deal with fecal incontinence. I’m learning to cope with it every day. I am never without a thick sanitary pad. I take Imodium when I need a break and put benefiber in my morning coffee. I use Aquaphor to calm the fragile skin. It’s no picnic but as long as the cancer stays away, I can manage it.
