@ggm43 This is what I got from the Nurse at my urogynecologist's office. I have not yet researched it myself, I'm sort of on the fence about doing anything. Right now I am working with just eliminating foods that were causing loose stools. I have apparently developed IBS with a dairy trigger and some other trigger which I have not yet figured out.

"Treatment options for fecal incontinence include many modalities including increasing stool bulk to thicken consistency of stool, avoid dietary triggers, pelvic floor Pt with biofeedback, InterStim (which is currently not an option for you because of your need for MRIs). The Eclipse can be an option. I also reached out to Dr. Rosenblatt at Mount Auburn hospital who does a sling for fecal incontinence (TOPAS). I will let you know if he is still doing them and you could see him for consultation on this option."

Here is a link to a long document about TOPAS that I just now found by googling "TOPAS procedure for fecal incontinence". Interstim also sounded interesting and was mentioned by my doctor, but I emailed the company and the closest doctor to me that does it is about a couple of hundred of miles away.
If you go down to page 9 of the document it is interesting in telling the success rate of various treatments. That is all I have read, thus far.
