Good morning....I would just talk with your Dr. about the risk of nerve damage.....as with all surgeries it can be a side effect however in my case I had multiple ovary surgeries , 2 very large children and now the bladder and utrural repair...I would have the surgery again I no longer feel like my insides are going to fall out when I walk....if your prolapse is keeping you from enjoying your life then have the surgery god bless and keep me posted praying for a quick recovery
