I went out to eat at Bonefish last evening and the new Phonak hearing aides seemed to work well. I could hear other person across the table and the background noise did not seem too bad.

That does sound like one that I might want to try. What model Phonak is it?

I asked my audiologist if Phonak were better than Resound & she said no difference plus no difference in price. Both are $1500 a pair so I ordered the resound which I’d been trying out a loaner pair.
And $50 extra a pocket size device for some controls on my end. I’m getting them in May.
Idk if you have tinnitus but it’s in the same ear as the deafness. I can’t hear anything much on that side. glad yours are helping you
