I am very happy for those who have made it through Harvoni treatment and are now virus free. I was undetected at week 6 and am waiting for my post treatment 12 week results. Before everyone gets too excited about this, please know there are numerous side effects to this medication that are not listed on the dispensing information. I secured a report from the FDA that lists: death, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, mouth ulcers, tinnitus, vertigo, dizziness, chest pain, lung damage,irregular heart beat just to name a few. I personally am being tested for lung damage and heart issues, neither of which I had pre-Harvoni. So please.....before you jump into this treatment, check out some of the forums on-line to see what folks are really experiencing. And not to be a total downer, but some who are undetected as their first viral load test are relapsing post treatment. Best Wishes!
