Are chills with no fever due to MAC?

Sometimes suddenly I will get strong chills. I never have a fever. I don’t know why this is happening. Does anyone get this….or is it not related to MAC.?

I get chills and my pulmo said it's most likely from MAC. I also get hot flashes and I'm way past menopause. (72) I drive my husband crazy!

Same. I also have horrible night sweats, and then, within minutes, I’m shivering cold. No fever.

Yes! I forgot about the horrible night sweats. I also have Graves thyroid disease so I get the night sweats with that too. 🙁

I get/got night sweats from MAC and also invasive aspergillosis. No fever. Fyi my daughter has/had Graves - she never mentioned night sweats. I’ll have to ask her. She had her thyroid killed at UMASS and takes replacement thyroid now. ( irene5)
