Salamat Pagi....funny that my first friend request would come from the country I was raised in! I lived my first 5 years in the Cameron Highlands and then the rest in Penang (left there in 1981), where I no doubt got my melanoma! There is a reason why God didn't put white people on the equator! : ) My brother Matt passed away from melanoma a couple of years ago. We had the most wonderful childhood, that even had I were to know my future, I would not have changed it any!

I know why you say the words as if you regret living in malaysia? My Frend, there is virtue in all that , God promises the best for his people ,accept it gladly and pleased ,all the challenges life has a way for us to get closer to God , that life would have died , and we need to continue living this life .. god bless you .. amen

I have seen on your wall, it appears that you have a serious health problem, but regardless, with patience, and, most importantly do not forget to doctor appointments, take medications as your doctor orders, stress can also affect your health, less thinking things that can make you stress, practice communication with family members and friends ... have a happy life despite your pain is too hard for you to go through

Salamat! No! You misread my jumbled words. I have NO regrets growing up in Malaysia.! I loved it there! I loved the people! The land! My friends! The food (really miss the stalls)! My life was enriched by those experiences and their is no regret! But as a white person, who has red hair and green eyes, I was already a prime target for melanoma (just didn't know it) and living on Penang on the ocean didn't help, but I would not trade it in!! I am a lover of all things Malay!
But like you, I have a strong belief in God. He makes no mistakes. I do follow my docotr's orders but this Addison's Disease on topof being a spinal injury has really left me feeling fatiged. I do not want to increase my meds,, and wonder if I can can do it without increasing the medications. To be perfectly blunt, the worst part about being a spinal cord injury is not the fact that I cannot use my legs and walk, but rather the internal plumbing, which no longer works on its own. This is what is causing me stress!
