If i eat or drink anything i get nauseous

Posted by PurplePoptart @purplepoptart, Jun 25, 2013

For the past two month if I eat or even drink water I get extremely nauseous. It's an all day things. I feel very weak. it seems like the more the days go by it gets worse and worse. I get very constipatedsometimes, if I can use the bathroom it's not much. I have tried taking gas x and acid reducer but that doesn't help. I take a fiber supplement everyday and that doesn't help. Does anyone know what this could be? Is it something I should go to the doctor about?

There are many causes for nausea. It could be simply pregnancy if you're a female to many gastrointestinal or endocrine problems. First of all you need to eat more fresh fruits and vegetable as they are the best sources of fibers. Researches has shown fiber supplements are not as good as natural ones. You also have to drink plenty of water. If you're not able to drink a whole glass you need to try drinking less but more times . Constipation is one of the causes of nausea. Do exercise on a regular basis for both fighting constipation and weight gain. If you're experiencing cold intolerance, hair or skin changes, yellowness of skin, skin striae, eye puffiness, any urinary problem, SOB, belly distention or pain, heartburn, bloating, swallowing difficulty, rash, dizziness, fatigue, high blood pressure, headache, visual changes, weakness, numbness, mood changes,... You have to contact your physician. If you've been under stress recently it would exacerbate your symptoms. Some antacids containing calcium would worsen constipation so avoid using them.
Hope this helps...be happy and healthy.
