@gigi4
I’m curious- do you still have SIBO symptoms? Do you need anything else to control it?
Apparently, gluten sensitivity- celiac disease, autoimmune, often coexist with Hashimoto’s.
My 2 daughters both have celiac disease and one of them also Hashimoto’s. Both have food allergies too.

Hi, short answer is no to SIBO symptoms. But my Hypothyroidism started in my 40’s. I’m 71 now and my digestive issues started 6 years ago after a great deal of stress. Fast forward after another endoscopy and searching for a functional medicine doctor, I was put on a prebiotic and probiotic for a period of time and then omitted the prebiotic. But continue with the probiotic. I also worked with a nutritionist to reduce or eliminate some foods high in sugar, use stevia instead of sugar. And I continue also eating organic fruits and vegetables and grass fed meats, wild caught seafood, and grass fed dairy products. I also learned sheep’s milk yogurt is more digestible plus it also has probiotics. I think all these changes have been beneficial to the huge improvement to my health. Another addition I’ve incorporated into my weekly routine is infrared sauna or steam saunas - both good for inflammation.
