Transplant Vasculopathy

I had a heart transplant 8 yrs ago and this last march i was told i had vasculopathy i was wondering if anyone has this post tx and how long did you have it and what did they end up having to do? just worried and don't really know what to expect

I am currently undergoing testing to be put on the heart transplant list. Only today did I learn of this discussion forum. While I am sorry to not have an answer to your post, I am very excited to talk with someone who has been through a heart transplant. Hope you are doing well!

Hey Susan my husband had a heart transplant 8 yrs ago and hes doing well so far if you have any question or anything please post here. We go to mayo clinic in jacksonville florida. Good luck and best wishes to you

Thank you for your reply! I also go to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Maybe we will run into each other one day. My next appts are Feb 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, and 20. Meeting someone who has been through this feels like grabbing a lifeline!

Hey we live in Pensacola, Florida we go to Jacksonville for checkups every 6 mons our next trip will be the 6th 7th 8th of March. it does feel good when you meet others that are going through the same as you. i was so scared when we first started this journey but the people in Jacksonville are so nice and supportive i come to feel at ease with it all real fast.
