@cindia1

So sorry to hear of the pain you are experiencing. I can relate.
Please do not feel bad, guilty or helpless. I KNOW how you feel because I still struggle with those feelings. However, you did not choose arthritis or any other condition. You are doing the best you can. While it is important to not give up and remain as positive as you can, I will tell you what my doctors are always telling me.....know your limitations and cut yourself some slack. You are still important to your family and will continue to be so. AND, maybe with you not working, getting the proper rest and treatment, you will be able to do more things with your family.

I had to apply for disability due to autoimmune conditions and while I was denied at first (my physician who is the one that forced me into applying, said that usually everyone is denied at first), I did end up receiving it.
Are you working now? In order to apply for SSD, you cannot be working.

Best of luck. I am pulling for you!

I'm working 12 hours a week. This is hard on my body.
