Hello I see that your post was quite a while ago, how are you done by now?
Cholesteatoma tumor? I had a tumor of a similar name in the mastoid area of my ear removed at the Mayo Clinic when I was 10. I’m 71 now, and have had no issue. Memory serves me that this tumor, as most of its type, was benign.
@elwooodsdad Glad you are alright if I may ask what kind of symptoms did you have before the surgery
