Run to the hospital, you could develop a serious infection that will got into your blood stream and affect your liver, pancreas, kidneys and your system could shut down .Sorry to be so harsh but my husband's sister died from that. Please go take care of it as soon as possible, please !!

First time I heard about Miralax was 10 yrs. ago.My daughter was so compacted that you could feel the "lumps" as you pressed on her abdomen.I was given the Miralax in the ER.it took her five days to start "unloading".That was when she was 12,now she's 22 and doing much better, that was so scary !!

I don't quite know how to use the Mayo site, but I was wondering if anyone experiences tremors/shakiness, or fast heartbeat with Miralx? I could have something totally unrelated - I see the cardio Dr and neurologist in a couple of weeks. But I'm just curious about any side effects.

@judy75 It looks like you did a great job posting on the site, unless you were trying to do something else.

Do you have digestive or other health issues that might account for your symptoms? I'm not sure if this is a common symptom of Miralax use but not in my experience.

Have you considered calling your doctor's nurse or your PCP to see if you should be seen sooner? Do you think tremors, shakiness, and a fast heart beat are symptoms that should be screened more quickly than waiting two weeks for your appointment?
