Halitosis

Posted by Cbs61752 @cbs61752, Sep 15, 2012

Does anyone suffer from halitosis? This is not due to neglecting oral hygiene. If you can share cures. I will be happy to learn from you. Any doctor I have talked with was absolutely clueless and looked at me like I had two heads. My dentist only said to sip water. Please help me if you can. I want to resolve this problem.

A friend of mine cured his halitosis by taking 1 tablespoon of chlorophyl a day. He took it at night. Besides the bad breath problem, this green stuff is an excellent source of 'green food.' You can buy this at a health food store...not real expensive.

Have you ever had the test for Canida? Just curious as I have read that there is no conventional test for it. I also read that the saliva test that people use at home with the glass of water is not a valid test. Also, is the diet that your friend used the one where you only eat meat, eggs, and vegetables?

Thank you, Bettyann, I so appreciate your time you have taken to help me.

Hello again!
We have a hospital in Denver (Englewood suburb) which is called Porter's Hospital and its run by the Seventh Day Adventist Church. I know that particular denomination is really big on nutrition and natural alternatives as well as the 'regular'stuff... Anyway..this is where my friend Lois went when she was SO sick, being recommended by her own dr's to do so. She told me she spoke to many people who said that Candida is one of the areas that Porter's specializes in... but to be able to 'name' the tests -- I can't do it. 🙂 Maybe its something you could check out (that hospital)

I think u should consult a homeopath he will have a sure cure for your problem
There are many possibilities as a cause of helitosis some of them are chronic tonsillitis, continuous posterior nasal drip, frontal sinusitis, etc

I have had my tonsils removed, and take sinus meds like Singulair and Zyrtec D. These two medicines keep my chronic sinusitis at bay. I might have some a small amount of a post nasal drip, but the meds pretty much keep this under control.

Often acid reflux can cause halitosis without the person having symptoms such as heart burn. Try something for heart burn like Zantac or prilosec.

The acid reflux med that I took was Nexium. As mentioned earlier, I experienced a loss of bone density. My internist couldn't figure out the reason for the bone density loss. Wouldn't you think that he would have known the side affect of Nexium???
