Sex headache

Posted by gmdavis63 @gmdavis63, Jun 24, 2012

I was looking for an existing discussion on male sex headaches and didn't see one so I guess I'll get one started.

I experienced one of these headaches for the first time last week and it was exactly as described on the main Mayo Clinic web site. It was a sharp, stabbing pain right at the point of orgasm. Really caught me by surprise and concerned me.

The next day, it happened again except it was just moments before orgasm. Since then, it has lessened some. But I'm wondering if it will ever go away. And why did it start suddenly?

Has anyone else experienced this?

I had the same thing happen to me about a month ago. Scared the heck out of me, though I was going to die. Had a brain MRI and they found nothing wrong. Hesitantly tried again and no headache since. Wish you luck.

Had you by any chance taken any ED medications? I had taken tadalafil (Cialis) from a mail order Canadian pharmacy. I live in the USA and have used this Canadian pharmacy for a few years. Their generic Cialis has always performed exactly the same way as the name-brand.

No ED meds but other pain meds.
