Description
People with cancer are living longer due to improved care, screening and newer treatments. The term “cancer survivor” identifies a community of people with a history of cancer, either at the time of diagnosis, during or after treatment. The effects of cancer do not end when treatment ends. This is the 4th session of a six-part survivorship webinar series to address the needs of cancer survivors.
Staff of the Stephen and Barbara Slaggie Family Cancer Education Center, located in Rochester, Minnesota, discussed the benefits of physical activity and how to plan for a safe, effective, and sustainable exercise plan.
