Welcome, @angeliqueestes. I can imagine you're scared. It's Sunday night before your surgery consult on Monday. That can start your mind going in circles. I'm going to tag fellow members @jackie55 @marsct @mhoffer @eam and @jayhawk57, who have all dealt with intussusception and who may be able to provide some useful input.

In the meantime, let's put that worry into action, shall we? That's what my husband always says to me when I start spinning in place worrying about something. What he means is that I need to review what I can control and focus on that. So in this case, I would probably take a 2 step approach.
1. I'd write down on paper or my phone all the questions and concerns I have and then organize it into a list to bring to my appointment.
2. Then I'd try to put that out of my mind and focus on doing everything that helps me clear my mind to get a good night's sleep - a bath or watching comedy, yoga or a brisk walk with the dog - whatever works for you.

If anything pops into my head while winding down for bed, I don't obsess about it, but simply write it down. It'll be dealt with tomorrow.

What do you think? What to make a list of questions and concerns? What is your biggest concern?

I e had that following numerous surgeries for adhesions
These resulted from RNY bypass
Dr did resection laparoscopically Same day surgery
Quick recovery. Good luck

The intersusseption surgery was no different than the resection surgery due to adhesions. Same one day
