Expression of Our Feelings

Hello my dear friends I thought that I would start a new post for us and just see how it goes. Each and everyday we experience different ways that we feel. We may feel happy, sad, grumpy, overjoyed. Feelings have a special place in our daily life and I thought that if we wrote and explained how we felt it would be good for us. Anyway let's see how it goes. You may even like to add a little quote as well. Take care hope to hear from you Annie

My dear friends I today would like to share one of my favourite poems with you

Footprints in the Sand.

One night I had a dream.

I dreamed i was walking along the beach

with the Lord,

Across the sky flashed scenes from my life,

For each scene,I noticed two sets of

footprints in the sand,

one belonging to me,and the other belonging to the Lord.

When the last scene of my life flashed before me.

I looked back at the footprints in the sand,

I noticed that many times along the path of my life.

there was only one set of footprints,

I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest

and saddest times in my life.

This really bothered me,

and I questioned the Lord about it,

'Lord you said that once I decided to follow you,

you'd walk with me all the way.

But I have noticed that during the most troublesome

times of my life.

there is only one set of footprints,

I don't understand why.

when I need you most you would leave me.

The Lord replied

'My precious child, I love you and would

never leave you,

During your times of trial and suffering,

when you see only one set of footprints, it was then

that I carried you.

This my dear friends was written by Mary Stevenson. I wanted to share this with you all. I know that we all have our own beliefs and values in life and I respect that in each one of you and always will. But my faith is why I am here today , and I myself rely on it daily to give me the strength that I need to stay strong and well.

Hello Friends,
Today, I humbled myself and called someone to wish him a happy birthday even though he hurt me very badly. Forgiveness is so important and it genuinely makes one feel good..

Rox that is so valiant. I am not so sure I could do that it would depend on the situation sometimes just detaching is better for mental health especially if that person has been taking advantage of your kindness.

so true it is good to detach at times but also to face certain things as Rox has with the forgiveness can have benefits as well to help us to heal from hurt and pain
