Endoscope biopsy results

Hi
I have been having stomach and constipation issues for little over a year. It took six months for someone to tell me it eas most likely my gallbladder. It was I had it removed this past January. I was still having problems so my surgeon referred me to gastro. Everything they tested for was negative. Last month I had a endoscope they wouldn't give me anesthesia only mild sedation I was awake and felt everything. I only did it because I knew I needed it done. A week later doctor posted results and a letter to my portal. It said no infection or celiac disease. Negative for h. Pylori and dyspepsia but it said linear endocrine cell hyperplasia with the possibility of autoimmune gastritis. All the doctors letter said was that it required follow up but was nothing to be concerned about. I was concerned and didn't know what it meant so I tried to call and speak to him but they wouldn't let me talk to him. I was expected to wait over 2 months for my follow up. I decided with all that and other bad experiences with this gastro department I would go see a new gastro. I have 3 referral out there I figure the first appointment I will take. Then last weekend I went to the emergency room for abdominal pain and back pain. They did a cat scan and said I have something wrong with my lumber spine and I had stool in my lower intestine that appeared to be having trouble passing through. Dr said I needed to see a gastro asap. But now I have to wait for a call. Also I tried calling this former gastro who did the endoscope his superior for a week. No call. Then I get a call from someone, some type of gastro manager. I felt like her calling was their way of covering their behind. I joined this Facebook group I talked to someone dealing with something just like me. She told me she was disturbed that I couldn't get a sooner follow up. She also asked if I had these specific antibody bloodwork to determine if it was autoimmune I said no. As far as the hyperplasia she said it was a erosion of the stomach lining and could develop possibility into slow growing tumors but not always. This dr said it was nothing to be concerned about and didn't do all the bloodwork I needed as well as noone explaining nothing to me. I wake up every morning with anxiety about all of this.my anxiety makes me feel like I'm gonna die. And my son has autism so I worry about him. I woke up this morning with my stomach burning it still is.im just so scared. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello @eileenb1022. I can hear the concern for your health and your son. I am sorry you are dealing with delayed follow-ups as well. It doesn't seem quite right, especially given what was found in the ED. What was done to address your acute pain when you went to the ED? Did any gastro physician see you while you were there?

Hello Amanda,

when i was in the emergency room i was a little disappointed. i had bloodwork which they said was fine and i had the catscan all ER doctor said i needed to see a gastro asap because he was not one. i was given no pain med. there was no iv. i dont see my new pcp until aug 3. i have been very anxious. i agree it doesnt seem right. i do have 3 referrals out there to GI's so whoever can see me forst i will go to. the one i really want to see, my appointment with him isnt until november the ER dr said i cant wait till then but i talked to them last week and she said she would put me on the wait list as high priority. i took a chance and sent him(or his office) a message yesterday through the portal. so no it is kinda upsetting especially for my back i have no pain meds. i really want to see a GI asap. i want to start over. have endoscope and possibly colonoscopy repeated and have at least a definite diagnosis. thank you for writing.
