Has anyone experienced gross hematuria after starting docetaxal?

@rso, I wonder if @predictable's experience with a hematuria is similar to your situation. He describes it more in this discussion:
- Have hematuria. Trying to find cause. https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/have-hematuria-trying-to-find-cause/

RSO, has your oncologist suggested that the hemturia may be related to chemo?

The urologist, after having another cystoscopy to rule out bladder recurrence, stayed that it could be from the prostate cancer and/or prior HDR brachytherapy. No one has indicated that it may be from docetaxal. I guess until it gets worse I just have to live with it. I was hoping it wasn't from chemo

@colleenyoung, thanks for calling me in on the problems @rso is dealing with. I remember that discussion from back in 2018 and reviewed it just now. I'd like to call attention to the fact that I made four postings in the discussion you cited, and each of them may have something worthwhile to @rso. In addition, the last of those postings was three years ago, and here's an update: I have continued to have occasional dilute blood show up in my urine, sometimes along with a few blood clots. The most recent was just last week, but as always in the last 13 years, no frank and thick blood has appeared. I'm due for my 2022 cystoscopic exam next month, and I'll let you know if any problems are cited this time. Hope you're having a wonderful summer up there! Martin

Thank you Martin for the helpful information. I won't worry about it unless as you say it changes and is no longer diluted.
Enjoy your summer as well
