New Diagnosis: I have hearing loss in both ears.

Posted by marych63 @marych63, May 25, 2022

I have hearing loss in both ears. Constant high pitch constant ringing. Annoying. I am debating what to do. I don't know if it's depression meds I am on or related to RA or OA or Huntington Corea. I have 4 more docs to go on each issue including loss of balance. It just hit me all at once. I do have long Covid. The expense is what is making me double think what to do. Disability doesn't go far but if I don't help it I am told dementia could set it. I already have short term memory loss from long covid. I need to know more. Plus I am a widow so on my own. I need your feedback on what I am facing.

@marych63 Your situation sounds very complex. A question though.

Do you use hearing aids presently?

Hi Mary, I completely sympathize your situation. I suggest you visit an audiologist asap because all your signs are pointing at hearing loss. Delaying may worse the situation so, be relaxed and visit the best audiologist to get your hearing checked.
