Sometimes we’re faced with no other decision than to meet these new challenges head on, right? I went through similar 2 years ago. Odds of survival without treatments/procedure were grim. So I opted to go for broke! Beats the alternative. With the help of my Mayo Team I’m surviving and thriving.

You have that same inner voice guiding you forward. In my house it’s called the Sprit of Endurance. We except, adapt and move on. I see this same spirit in you, knowing there will be major changes you’re already setting in motion what it will take to help you adapt to the new you. In time it will become second nature. And believe me, we never know how strong we can be until it’s the only choice.

Being cancer free is the goal! You’ll do what it takes to win this battle.
You may not feel up to it for a while, but it would be great if you’d check in to let me know how you’re doing after surgery.

Are you working with the social services dept at Mayo? They’re really good with helping to work with your insurance company to set up home care services after discharge.
