What's your experience: proton SBRT non small cell lung cancer?

Had the 5 session proton SBRT my tumor went from 54x34mm to 23x13mm this CT scan was in September got another one in December anybody have any similar situation

Great to hear that your tumor shrank with proton beam therapy. Have you had any other treatments? How are you feeling these days?

I was hoping to see how many people have had this treatment and what kind of results seems like they have nothing else planned until the upcoming Dec cat scan pretty unsure of everything at this point

Tom, like you, I hope that some of the members I tagged and other members will come forward with their experiences with proton SBRT will post their experiences.

Here at Mayo in Florida they do Photon sbrt. I have had 3 lymph nodes in lungs radiated along with my hip/pelvis and 1 adrenal gland. After a year the CT scans still show the shrinkage of tumors which can also be scar tissue and inflammation. Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Seaspray thanks for the reply mine has shrunk considerable but not sure if it is actually just left over scar tissue or inflammation guess it is a wait and see kind of deal next ct in December of this year
