High Crossfit and covid vaccine

I have chronic inflammation, which I am having tests run on. Last year my hair fell out, I lost 40 pounds for absolutely no reason. I had a cyst on my hand and a trigger finger that is now gone away when I went to a plant-based diet. My heart was racing so they put me on some medicine for that.I have a high C reactive protein level. Checking in to GI issues including a tortuous colon.
I am gluten-free, dairy free, only eating a plant-based diet with liquids or soft foods. I am nauseous if I eat anything else and it does not seem to go through the digestive tract well, so I do intermittent fasting. I had dry heaves in the morning for over a year, but changing what I eat helped that, I just can’t eat much at all.My neurologist said that I should not get the vaccine because inflammation could go to my heart or brain. The left side of my face swells up huge if I eat something wrong.
I have been pretty isolated during Covid. I quit my job as a principal and I am teaching remotely from my home. My primary care physician tried to send me to Mayo, but insurance will not work there. I am having a endoscopy October 8. through Kansas City G.I.

I read that a high C reactive Protane could lead to a very bad case of Covid and has a higher mortality rate. I am afraid of the side effects from the vaccine, I don’t know which is worse.
Hopefully after the endoscopy they will be able to tell what’s going on.

Do you have any advice?

@brendabock, thank you for explaining and providing more background. This is a question that fellow patients and Connect members cannot answer. It is best to listen to the advice of your doctors. I hope you get more answers after the endoscopy. Do share with them the effect isolation is having on you as well. Mental health is as important as physical health.
