Hello @jeannielee, Welcome to Connect. You might want to give your sleep medicine doctor a call and discuss if using a dental appliance might work for you. Here's more information on the topic.

Oral Appliance Therapy for Obstructive Sleep Apnea: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/treatments/21129-oral-appliance-therapy-for-sleep-apnea

I had 2 CPAPs which were both recalled - a Dreamstation and a Dreamstation Go which I used if we traveled. After reading the recall notice I decided to stop using mine and get another smaller unit, the ResMed AirMini CPAP. Here's the recall information if you haven't seen it.

Philips Respironics Recall Information: https://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare/e/sleep/communications/src-update

Have you talked to your sleep medicine doctor?

Thank you... you're right... my sleep doctor is the place to start, and I will do that.
I have read all the recall info, but thought that the risks for me not using the CPAP were higher than the risks of using
Thanks for the link on oral appliance therapy.
Oh, and I don't know abut the ResMed smaller unit... I'll check that out, too!

Good to know this. Having sleep test this month. Dental practice where I live, independent retirement living campus, has a dental practice with a specialist who works with sleep apnea patients so I hope this is one of the possibilities if I am determined to have apnea, probably do, and it is the type to benefit from an oral appliance.
