Hello @adill, Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect.
I know a diagnosis of Lymphoma can be distressing news. There are quite a few discussions in our Connect forum with members who have Lymphoma and I’d like to make sure you’ll be able to get answers to some of your questions.
Would you be able to give me a little more information please?
Have you been diagnosed with lymphoma or has your 2 year old child?

IN Bangladesh, we are advised to move to other countries for better treatments. My son ¹Baby needs ¹chemotherapy immediately.

As a parent, getting news like this is frightening. My heart goes out to your child, you and your family for all the uncertainty you must feel right now.
Where would be the closest country you could travel for his treatment? Would your child’s current doctor be able to refer your child elsewhere?

Because he needs immediate care, have you considered trying a Medical College Hospital in your own country? Protocol for treating lymphoma is fairly standard and you’d avoid having to get all the paperwork in order and trying to find another clinic in a foreign country on short notice. And with Covid, travel becomes challenging.

I found several Medical College Hospitals in Bangladesh. Since I’m not familiar with your country, I don’t know what is closest to you. However, Dhaka has several hospitals affiliated with medical colleges. The two I researched a little seem to have good reputations and possibly able to give your son more immediate care.
Would you consider finding treatment for your little boy closer to home? One of my oncologists is from Bangladesh and he’s excellent. Why was it recommended to find assistance elsewhere?

If you are interested in bringing your little boy to the United States for his lymphoma care, Mayo Clinic has 3 locations from which to choose. I really hope he can get in soon to get his treatments started. I’ll be thinking of you and your family.

There are also medical facilities affiliated with Mayo Clinic in Abu Dhabi and London to consider.

It’s highly recommended that you work through the Mayo Clinic International services.
They can help you obtain an appointment for your son. Don’t make any travel arrangements to come to the USA until you have an appointment for your son. If you get an appointment then Mayo Concierge will help you make arrangements for travel, lodging and financial considerations.

I have provided internet links to all of the websites below for the different Mayo Clinic locations. Please pay close attention to the Mayo Clinic International services page. There is a lot of information regarding the location of clinics and how to get arrangements made.

Here are the connections to Mayo Clinic international Services.
