My doctor didn’t! I put myself on one. The way my numbers were fluctuating I didn’t want them to go down anymore than what they were. I’m upset with my pcp because he’s being so nonchalant about this. I also have a store lodged in my kidney that he’s not worried about.

@ms9246, I want drop in here and share a quick note. I am a liver and kidney transplant recipient. I don't remember the reason, but I had to go to the ER and a CT scan was performed at my local hospital. (not my transplant center) The CT showed a small kidney stone according to the written report. The local doc didn't mention it. So I brought it to the attention of my kidney transplant team, who thought it was something to investigate. When I asked why the local doc ignored it, they said that sometimes a specialist sees things that are not important in a routine regular appointment or a non specialist.
Have you considered being evaluated by a kidney specialist?
