Hi @ajohnstonperx and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. It can be frustrating when a medication that was working so well suddenly stops working.

Here is an article that references some good substitutes for serequil. It does state that no one medicine is perfect, but there are certain benefits to each one.

I used to take trazodone as a sleep aide. What did your doctor prescribe it to you for?

The quietapine was prescribed for sleep, I later found out after I was off of it that it was used for bipolar disorder, and he switched me from quietapine to trazadone for sleep.
