I drew a diagrams of my issue basically part of my effected eye has a static like vision in just one spot. So for example if I am looking directly strait ahead and holding a cell phone in that part of my view it becomes static like. This came on suddenly like 5 days ago and the doctor said he has no answers on why this is happening. He wants to perform a field test. But my central vision is 20/20 and all other tests including pressure for my eye is normal. I am 42 years old. In good health exercise every day.

I hope the drops are helping your conjunctivitis. 20/20 central vision is only one measure of eye health. I would have the visual field test done if these symptoms continue. It tells the doc exactly where the disruption is vision is occurring. It is a non-invasive test that takes about 15-20 minutes, usually administered by a skilled tech, and will help figure out the problem. Depending on results, it may be followed by an examination of your retina, a prescription for more drops, or just cautious watching.
Let us know how you progress.
