@migizii
I think someone may have answered this. I installed the Mayo Clinic App on my iPad a couple of years ago and just recently on my Android phone. Both apps were from a Mayo Clinic Online Community ad and both look and act a little differently. My Android app does not have a bell for instance.
When you want to clear notifications on any device touch your photo at the right hand top where it says @migizii . It will show you some options one of which is Notifications.
Select Actions down below in blue and it will give you the option to clear all notifications.
Select that and you will see a message that they are currently clearing all your notifications and you will get an email once done. I waited once after this message to see if the number of notifications cleared and it did...takes several seconds.
At that point I usually jump to my email to see if it was done. I can’t do this from my emails but have to go to the home page on both apps. Generally anytime you select a back button you are reverting backwards so don’t do that.
Maybe this will help. I also use Safari but I don’t think that should matter. I think each persons Home Page will look a little different and I just played around until I discovered how it operates.
BUT again, I can do none of this from my emails just delete them from my emails as I read (or not). I still go to the home page because the notifications are still there even if I have trashed them in my emails. Two separate things.
I'm sorry, yesterday on my iPhone I was searching for a group with the word Garden in it. Garden is actually a Discussion thread, where were were discussing daffodils. I'm finding it a bit frustrating to try to use my smartphone with Connect, please be patient with me!
It may have happened when the Connect platform was modified a few months ago. It’s a lot easier now to change personal settings for what type of notifications you’d like to receive and the frequency. You can stop all emails if you’d like and only be notified on your group’s activity on the Daily Digest or in the notifications icon on the home page.
Did you have any trouble finding where to change your frequency of notifications sand email settings?
Hey @Erinmfs ! I’m sending you a message! Let me know if you get it. Be sure to read the “Get to know the new MayoClinicConnect “ that is just to the right of this reply!
Thx! I did that and I no longer have any notifications!!!!!!

The Champion Newsfeed, I like to read that , there are no posts available in it today? That is odd. There is no Mayo Clinic News today?
There's always news from Mayo Clinic, Erin. 🙂 But it looks like the newsfeed is not loading properly. Thanks for reporting.
I have 628 notifications today, I'll never read them all. No need to save so many! 🙂
Whoa! That’s a lot of notifications! Are you subscribing to every group? 😂
I don't think so, I'll go check!
I was signed up for alot, I cut back. I don't know how it got that way!

My screen is not offering me a way to get out of this or to go back.
