What's with all the critical errors?
Maybe it's only me???

@jakedduck1 and @Erinmfs, you offered several observations about the new design in the walking group discussion. I thought I'd leave the folks to talk about walking and bring you over here to talk about the upgrade and the items you raise:

1. Emails notifications: any emails you received from Mayo Clinic Connect before April 2 will no longer take you directly to the post. You can however still click the link to the group and find the discussion that way.
All emails from April 2 and onwards will work as before (or better).

You will receive significantly fewer emails. You will receive an email notification if someone:
- Replies to your post
- @mentions you in a post
- Likes your post

You will also continue to receive a digest that gives you a daily summary of activity made in the previous 24 hours.

If there is a specific group you wish to follow very closely and receive an email for every post, then you can. I'll be posting detailed instruction about that tomorrow.

2. Search is not yet fully optimized. It will be completed over the next few days. It's better, but not best yet. It will be. I promise.

3. An app? Pssst, that's in the works. No release date yet.

@colleenyoung
I still have to sign in everywhere I go.
Is that an issue with my phone?
Also, seems to take longer to do everything.

Jake, I was hoping the sign in thing would be resolved with the upgrade. I'll ask the tech team about it. Since that is an issue specific to you, it might be an issue with your phone. I'll find out.

When you say it takes longer to do everything, do you mean that the website is slow or taking longer to load? Or is it taking longer to find stuff? Or something else?

I love the new lay-out and design. Good looking and easier to read/follow. I have been losing the site with errors and information to 'Word Press'. Who is that? When that happens, I've been deleting and moving on to another page is I can, if it'll let me move. I don't think it's anything I'm doing, think it's the system?
Pages coming up is slower now, but I bet'cha you have that solved by now.
I'm impressed.
Good changes.
I only have 1 new message today, private, no others....that's quite a change! Was getting them by the dozens, sometimes 40-50 daily, even after doing all the John tricks.
Love the changes......easier to navigate, prettier, easier to read, easier to understand and even used 'search' last night several times....not yet perfect, but almost....
blessings to you, Colleen and your compadres! And to all on connect!!!! elizabeth
