Has your neurologist done a MRI on your back? The lower one to more precise. I woke up last July and was unable to move. I finally saw a neurologist in September who order that. I had pain that went all the way to my heels (i still have the pain but its now more manageable). He found out that the two lower discs are disintegrating (arthritis). The pain was sudden and is now being treated.

Hi! I had what was called a “motion x-ray” which was kind of like a video of my spine, both cervical and lumbar. This was done by a pain specialist who gave me two sets of shots …. none of them helped. Thanks for the response ….. hope your treatment is working well for you.

They have me on Gabapentin Cyclobenzaprine and Tramadol. I was on Hydrocodone but because I had been on it for a year i was removed. I did the shots as well, they worked for maybe 2 visits and that was it. I hope you find some relief soon.

Back at you
BTW Gabapentin seemed like a wonder drug at first, but then it’s like the body caught on and said “okay…. let’s not pay attention to that anymore”. Hope they’ll find something for you that will replace the Hydrocodone. Take care Yin73.
