On the Mayo Clinic Q&A podcast, Dr. Gregory Poland, an infectious diseases expert and head of Mayo Clinic’s Vaccine Research Group, covers the latest news on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Poland discusses current outbreak numbers, why there may be a second wave of infections, and research on a vaccine.

I searched looked on Mayo Clinic website to see if they had information on herd immunity. It didn't. However, I found Connect.

@pegsmetana- Whoo! Welcome to Connect. There have been so many roadblocks to finding reliable tests and studies that it would be difficult to answer your concerns. I did find this:

@caroleramsay- Hello. I have to use the CC at the bottom of the video to read it. It shows the words at the bottom. Some of the videos are difficult to understand or the speaker is too fast. Would this help?

Thank you, but sadly. no. I am speaking of people like myself who don't run the video at all - and ONLY want to/need to read the transcript. (Many Americans lack access to the internet making video impossible, while reading is still do- able thru mobile data)
