morning bitterness in the mouth

i wake up every morning with bitter taste in my mouth every day for the past year. i was diagnosed withe stomach stone in 2008 and recovered now. Is this normal?

Welcome to Connect, and thanks for sharing your symptoms. More often than not, medications that have been taken for a while can cause a bitter or metallic taste in the mouth. That being said, it can also be one of the symptoms of gallbladder infection.

Thank you very much. A small Polyp was in my gallbladder. Doctors said there was no need to worry. But i feel it is getting worse given the bitterness in the mouth for over a year. Perhaps this is due to my lack of breakfast. Do u think medications is necessary?
