Continued dizziness one year after my TBI in a car accident.

Vestibular position therapy does not work well as I also have a neck fracture not totally healed. I am doing visual positioning though with some relief. Lorazepam 1 mg twice a day seems to help, but that is addicting. Does dizzy ever go away after a TBI?

In Jan. of 2015 I had a heart attack. LAD was blocked and a stent was inserted. I recovered well from that trauma only to be in a car accident 5 months later. My husband, who does not drink, fell asleep at the wheel, we ran into a ditch, hit an approach, went air borne and hit a tree. My husband, Russ, was slumped over the wheel, so I crawled out the back of the car, scrambled up the ditch , over a road and crawled down a long driveway to a porch light which was glowing, not knowing that I had two brain bleeds, a broken neck, six broken ribs, numerous fractures down my back and a bone chipped ankle. We were soon air lifted to a regional hospital. Back braces , neck brace , ankle brace all summer. In short, after so many tests, scans and treatments, a year later all is as well as can be expected. I have some cognitive issues, like depression, PTSD, a brain fog which I feel as fatigue and anxiety. I still play my piano, flute and sing in choirs and I paint water colors. I feel strange when with others, like having a purple nose or something and I wonder what it would feel like without ringing in my ears, dizziness and tiredness.
