I have neuropathy in my feet and the doctors don't seem to have a treatment or advise for improvement. Have any of you sucessfully restored feeling in your limbs?

I hate to read that. I turned my ankle real bad in 2008, and I to have almost the same thing. I do feel for you. I 'm sure if the doctors could do more they certain would, I did try very hard, and am not giving up. Good luck
I have hade peripheral neuropathy for 7 years and have been using a gabapentin in lipoderm 10% cream 3 times a day on the balls of my feet and also take one 150mg Lyrica twice a day. While thiis does not restore any feling it does keep the weird sensations at bay.
I would love to talk,I have full blown!I am praying for a cure!!
I have also had periperal neuropathy in my feet for 8 years and now moving to my hands. Have tried acupuncture, massage, chiropractic and a variety of homeopathic meds. All to no avail, what I do recommend is exercise, I started golfing about 4 years ago and feel that is what has kept me mobile. That and my wife's prayers. Good luck, God bless,

my husband has developed neuropathy in his legs, from knees down through his feet. The pain and numbness are starting to become unbearable. He has been given numerous meds and nothing seems to bring relief other than vicodin. The lyrica had bad side effects on him and some of the other meds worked on his mind. Not good.He had a vascular disease called weggeners several years ago and he has been told this is a result of the disease. he also had a kidney transplant 7 years ago, but that failed when he developed staph infection and almost died. Would love to hear of someone with a good idea on pain relief for this stuff.
I Take every day Cymbalta and Lyrica and this eases successfully my pain. Cymbalta 60 and Lyrica 75.

you don't say anything about exercise, so I assume he doesn't. he must exercise, at least walking, 30 to 60 mins. 3 to 5 times per week. Does anyone have any experience with " water walking" as therapy?
medication and exercise.
