Has anyone suffered from acute arthritic pain? Are there any remedies?

I don’t think you’ll find many people on this site who don’t suffer from some type of arthritic pain.

@johnbishop Hello, John. Thank you for the above links to arthritis webinars and other info. I'm constantly in arthritic pain, head to toe actually, so I need all the help possible.

For @nazleer, yes, most of us have some arthritis and some pain, but some do indeed suffer with serious arthritis pain. I am one. Feet, toes, all joints, vertebrae, neck, jaws, and my hands/wrists/fingers hurt all the time and the worst. Especially when the finger joints are deteriorating, becoming disformed and ugly and oh so painful.....it often awakens me from a sleep during one of these episodes. AND, don't overlook the barometer/weather. It does affect my body, I hurt all over when the climate changes......

I use MMJ, THC/CBD tincture and lotion that helps a lot. Actually, gives me the most help of anything, and ibuprophen is helpful. I take supplements as well. I no longer take script meds for arth pain, Cymbalta may although I take it for fibro and anxiety.
Blessings John, nazleer and all...elizabeth

@johnbishop Hello, John. Questions: you mentioned on another site you wear knee high compression stockings. I wore them after CHF and they help tremendously, feel wonderful. I now can't use them at all due to the arthritis worsening in my hands/fingers/wrists/shoulders. I can't get the silly things on or past my toes! I don't have strength enough to get them on and at times I couldn't get them off! I've spent way too much $$ trying to find something to work. The little OT 'helpers' don't. Tried several lighter strength, but still can't.

Any ideas, my friend? You are such a stellar researcher, thought you might have already found something to help and can guide me....loved seeing your face 'live'', but had to scoot unexpectedly re son. Really wanted to learn and offer more....blessings, elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth @ess77 - I had the same issue even after being tutored at the Mayo Clinic Store in Rochester where I bought my first pair for way too much money. I found some side zippered compression socks on Amazon and they work fine for me. Here's a search link for women's but you can add the amount of compression you need in the search box and do a new search. I have arthritis in my hands also but the pain is not bad. I just don't have the finger strength anymore. I got the closed toe type but they also sell them with open toes if you like those better.
