Send Mayo Clinic nurses a Thank You!

May 12th is National Nursing Day. To celebrate the hard work and care that Mayo Clinic Nurses put in and show appreciation, we want them to hear from you!

Post a short message of appreciation in the comments below for a nurse or nursing team who cared for you. Your messages and quotables will be compiled for a series of social media posts that we will share with Mayo Clinic nurses during the celebratory week.

To all the incredible nurses of the cancer teams in the Martinez and Walnut Creek Kaiser hospitals in California, my deepest gratitude. Your kindness carries all of us through our journeys.

Wow! There are not enough words of praise nor thanks to equal the immense gratitude my husband and I have for the ALL the nursing teams at Mayo Rochester! We consider those on Eisenberg 7-3, 7-4 and 9-3 and 9-4 beloved family. My husband affectionately refer to them as his "Angels in the Night". Nothing but the very best at Mayo!

To all of the nurses I encountered at Mayo Rochester I have nothing but the highest praise. Being a considerable distance from home and a solo patient undergoing a number of medical test they showed me kindness and care. The number of people that enter the Clinic daily is high but their concern for all is equal.

I agree, I was at Mayo Jacksonville, the nurses were so kind, and even though some days shorthanded during the pandemic, always responded quickly to my request for assistance to the bathroom or need for pain meds.

Thank you to all of the nurses who have taken such great care of me over the past year! They include Eisenberg Station 93-94, the ICU, the Infusion Center, and the BMT Center at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I am so grateful to them for their caring, compassionate, and selfless service!

To all the Mayo Clinic nurses everywhere and most especially from the 9th floor Mary Brigh Bldg:

Thank You for taking care of your patients with such compassion and respect. Especially when performing tasks for the patient’s basic needs.

Thank You for bringing smiles and laughter into my room each and everyday - picking up where my family left off when they weren’t there.

You truly are angels on earth and blessings to all those patients you care for! May GOD bless you for all that you do.

Dr. Baqir's nurse, Laura (vasculitis clinic), takes care of my dad like he's her own father. She's responsive, patient and kind and never makes us feel like we are a burden to her workload. We love her!
