Testicles. Very mild symptoms. Two lumps.

Posted by mrbrandon @mrbrandon, Feb 27, 2021

hey i have very mild testicular pain. The first sign of testicular pain started in the bottom of my testicle. It was some dull feeling. My testicles would increase in size slightly after sleeping, im assuming better blood flow, get slightly softer. and when it became smaller again, would become more firm and i coulld feel a small lump on the bottom back of my testicle, seeming to be where the end of cord on the back of the testicle was .it had the same texture and consistency, present on both balls in same location, and something that seemed like an opening. idk if this lump is normal or not. nothing else special aside from very intermittent pain that is gradual and low in intensity. Any idea what this is?

Oh @mrbrandon, I am sorry you are experiencing this. With some of the symptoms that you were experiencing that you thought to be COVID related, I would definitely get checked out by a physician sooner rather than later. When your overall health is concerned, it's never too early to see someone!

There is a member that posted a discussion with similar symptoms, and I don't want to alarm you, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Masses in the testicular region could always be benign, but you need to have them checked to be sure.

Not yet but I am planning very soon. So far the pain has almost all gone away, with the only remaining traces being the lumps at the bottom of my testicle, which I think it connected to the cord that usually located behind the balls. Also my semen has increased in amount but also became more watery

I am sorry, I didn't mean to suggest that it would be COVID related. I read your other posts and saw you were having other symptoms, so it is always good advice to seek an actual medical opinion.

I do know that spermatocele can cause lumps and discomfort if you have a blockage, so that my be a good topic to bring up with a physician as well. I posted a link below that may help you research that.

Thank you! I will consider all these. is there a possibility that this is a cyst. because its actually disappeared or became soft. I looked up and it said cysts had a central pore. And I thought this was likely because the cyst was on both sides of the testicle, seemingly at the end of the epipidymis tube.

Hi @mrbrandon, I would definitely recommend consulting with a physician in order to determine exactly what is going on. Because Mayo Clinic Connect is a patient-to-patient community – the most important ingredient of Connect is its members, like you. It is not designed to be a community for medical experts to give advice, but is a place to learn from all your shared experiences, insights, suggestions, and tips. Member and moderators do post Q &A's and podcast that people on this site find helpful. Dr. Gazelka actually did a podcast that you might be interested in watching - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/page/podcasts/newsfeed-post/what-young-men-need-to-know-about-testicular-cancer/

Have you considered contacting your GP or even Mayo to find a specialist?
