Bilateral Mastectomy Surgery Today

Posted by Liz Adams @ladams92, Jan 21, 2021

Hello Ladies,

My Mom is undergoing her bi-lateral mastectomy this morning at Mayo Rochester. I have been a fly on the wall in your discussion boards trying to understand what my Mom will be facing in her recovery as I will be her primary caregiver. I appreciate reading all of your stories and insight and thank you for being so open and honest. I have learned a lot from you beautiful warriors that have been through so much! Everyone's story is so different and all of your insight has been so helpful to prepare for what to expect.

I am please asking that anyone who is willing to keep my mom Ann in your prayers today as she undergoes her procedure.

Thank you and may God Bless you all,
Liz

@ladams92 - Wishing your mother well today! I had a right mastectomy 29 years ago. She is lucky to have you at her side! I had 3 young children then, but had a couple of friends that would cheer for me. Thinking of you two!
