Nebulizer: What model do you like?

Posted by thumperguy @thumperguy, Oct 14, 2020

I’m using an aging Vios Pari in which I’ve begun to lose confidence. Thought I’d replace it with the same model if still available, though I am curious what other forum contributors might think on the topic. Don

Medicare bought me a Drive Neb Power Ultra nebulizer. It went bad after the warranty expired, but before the time that Medicare would pay for a replacement. I replaced it at a cost to me of $22.50. It worked fine until it went bad, and the new one is working fine.

I have tried two smaller, more portable units than the 10 year old Pari, but I find myself returning to it because it is faster dispensing the meds. It is the third one in our house - each daughter has one of the older ones - the 20 year old one still gets occasional use. My current one came from Walgreens for around $40.

I don’t recall for sure. I believe it was one year.

Well nice discussion, but I probably should confess, I applied a bit more torque as I installed the tube on the compressor and Voila! Clouds of vapor. On to the next prob. Don

After a rush of optimism about my old Vios Pari nebulizer my confidence ran aground again when I noticed what seemed too much saline remaining in the neb cup after 30 minutes operation. So I bought a CNB 69011.

So far very pleased. This evening while hose-tethered to OleThumper I checked the neb cup at the 18 minute mark and it was empty and I’m coughing, sneezing, and spitting like a maniac. I really know how to fill an evening with fun stuff. Don
