Billing Issues with Medicare in Mayo AZ?

Thank you, Colleen. I will follow-up of these links you sent. I am quite disappointed, though, at the lack of instructions from Mayo on this cumbersome, hard-to-understand process. I understand it will be fixed in 2021, but navigating through this nightmarish process with such poor guidance from Mayo is disappointing for such a world-class organization.

Bob, I understand your frustration. I wonder if this PDF would help answer some questions. It was written by Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, but may still be applicable.

In particular, see the worksheet starting on page 12.

Bob Vanourek @bobvan, I feel your pain. I don't go to Mayo Phoenix by Rochester. In fact I'm leaving for the Hospital for my 4th of 5 SBRT Proton treatment shortly. You mentioned that things in AZ in 2021 will be changing, in what way? I would love to have Mayo AZ accept Medicare's rates since I live on the Oregon coast and to drive to Rochester is 2,200 miles and 4 days while I can make Phoenix in 2 days. Best of luck to you in your prostate problems. Dave
