Dry Eye & PN

Is dry eye a symptom of PN? And any experiences?

@lioness @testudo Science states peripheral neuropathy can affect eyes with causes of dryness. Studies suggest that many cases of dry eye have evidence of neuropathic pain that arises from chronic disorders of, as well as acute damage to, the corneal nerves. PN has such a wide spectrum of possible dysfunction that it's easy to blame many things on it. But, we're all different, with different types of PN and it gets mind boggling. I suggest when in doubt, ask your Dr.

@rwinney I had dry eyes first now neuropathy so it's like which came first chicken or egg 🥚 But right now trying to get an appointment with neurosurgeon is like pulling teeth Now I have to get a new referral so it,ll be another month probably . Do you realize we have been in isolation for 6 months now no wonder people are depressed right now I have been in morning till I tell myself get dressed and go for a walk 😜

@testudo Good for you diet is so important remember breads , starchy foods turn into glucose in the body so go light or skip if you can

I am sorry you folks have this condition. Another condition to "manage". My wife does not have this so far, thanks heavens. She cries a lot (somewhat of an empath) but that is probably irrelevant I'm guessing. Do you guys think it happens to you during the night? I see they offer things like eye masks like Bruder Mask or Tranquileyes, do these things help anybody?
